Our anniversary celebrations continue at the B&B Italia Store in London, with a special arrangement dedicated to the company’s first 50 years and the book entitled “The Long Life of design in Italy. B&B Italia 50 years and beyond” published for the occasion, in addition to daily screenings of the documentary film entitled “B&B Italia. Poetry in the shape. When design meets industry”.
Great attention is also focused on the presentation of the new 2016 designs: projects that express the creativity, the research and the innovation, which have always been a part of B&B Italia’s DNA.
The main shop window is dedicated to the new proposals designed by Antonio Citterio: Édouard, a range of sofas with a sinuous silhouette, wide seat and a high backrest. Eucalipto, storage units with sophisticated nishes and colours. Cozy, side tables that transform the classic three-legged guéridon into an object of haute design.
On show inside the store, the new decorative and functional pieces designed by the Doshi Levien duo: the Do-Maru armchair, the Maru low tables and the Tabour ottomans.
Grande Papilio 50° by Naoto Fukasawa is presented in a limited edition of just 50 pieces, in natural sheepskin, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of B&B Italia.
New proposals dedicated to public spaces, the Bankside sofa and armchair by Jasper Morrison - originally designed for the new project for the prestigious Tate Gallery of Modern Art in London - and the Metropolitan ’14 sofa by Jeffrey Bernett.
