Kasthall New Collections 2010

We have worked with Kasthall, a Swedish based company specialising in unique hand woven and hand tufted rugs for many years and this year they have excelled by introducing nine new collections to their existing extensive range.

Mirrorings, Aiko, Iris, Doris, Horizon, Mistral, Glimmer, Karl and Macro Melange are all now available, custom made to your own dimensions.

Mirrorings: A design printed on a woven Hagga rug. This is available in four exciting colour combinations.

Aiko: Is a design printed on a woven Kasthall Hagga rug inspired by japanese culture and design with three different colour combinations.

Iris: This is a romantic flower design printed on a woven Hagga rug. Originally inspired by an old silk ribbon that the Designer found one day in her sewing box. This rug finish combines elements of 18th century and 1950's design.

Doris: Is a woven rug in pure wool that has been combined with two of Kasthall's unique yarns - the fluffy chenille yarn that creates the rug's pattern is alternated with classic wool yarn. The geometric dot pattern is inspired by the shape of precious stones and gives the surface of a the rug a beautiful structure.

Horizon: This is a patterned, hand tufted rug with a dense, short pile in the finest wool and a specially coloured linen yarn with a vintage feel. The linen yarn creates a shimmering surface that continually changes depending on the light. With a subtle stripe pattern, the rug is available in seven elegant colourways.

Mistral: Pure linen, short pile creates this hand tufted Kasthall rug. It is available in seven sober colourways inspired by gentle, natural colours.

Glimmer: A hand-tufted Kasthall rug with a tight, short pile of finest wool and a specially dyed linen yarn that gives this rug its shimmering pattern. Glimmer comes in four elegant colour combinations to suit a range of different settings.

Karl: Various sizes of geometric shapes, like fields. Exclusive hand tufted Kasthall rug in the finest wool and linen, The geometric pattern is reinforced by the combination of two pile heights - a higher cut surface and a lower in boucle.Available in six different colours, five solid colours and one multi-coloured.

Macro Melange: This is a woven Kasthall wall-to-wall boucle carpet with an elegant ribbed pattern and a hard-wearing texture that is ideal for areas subject to heavy wear, With 17 different colour options, the carpet can also be ordered with stitched edges, in any size or shape required.
