Amat-3
Amat-3 is family-run business based in Martorell, Barcelona. Amat-3 designs & manufactures furniture for cafe, restaurant and break-out areas.
In 1944, Antonio Amat Bou founded the business, initially creating a service workshop.
In 1950, Amat-3 commenced the manufacture of furniture, and in particular street and school furniture.
In 1975, Antonio Amat Vidal took, the new Amat generation, expanded Amat with considerable investment in industrial buildings and installations. This consolidated Amat as the leader in the sector of furniture for collective units.
In 1984, the architect Conrad Amat Vidal took over the management of Amat, giving it a design philosophy, while at the same time encouraging the process of product differentiation and opening up the business to international markets.
