Amat-3

Amat-3 designs, manufactures, and markets furniture for cafe, restaurant and break-out areas in the town of Martorell, Barcelona. In 1944, Antonio Amat Bou began the business activity by creating a service workshop. 1950 saw the manufacture of furniture, and in particular street and school furniture. In 1975, Antonio Amat Vidal took over for the new generation and Amat expanded with considerable investment in industrial buildings and installations and was consolidated as the leader in the sector of furniture for collective units. In 1984 the architect Conrad Amat Vidal took over the management of this family business, giving it a design philosophy, while at the same time encouraging the process of product differentiation and opening up the business to international markets.
